In my past two posts of my New Year’s trip I only showed you brief glimpses of all the vineyards and various culinary delight and tourist traps we enjoyed. Today I am devoting a whole post to one restaurant, one you would not expect to see reviewed here on Cheap Ethnic Eatz. It is [...] I know I have been bad. I have had 3 restaurants I wanted to review but it has been to long for me to write now a proper full review. So I will tease you instead with a quick note and pictures of each. [...] Wow I had a fabulous evening this past Wednesday, a magical metropolitan night basking in some of the best cultural delights Montreal has to offer. I was originally going to try a tiny restaurant hidden in Verdun with my friend Johanne. The day before she got in touch with me saying she could perhaps [...] I have been putting of going to Bofinger for quite sometime. The first location is like 8 blocks away from me and I just did not go. At one point I was decided to go with the CEE dinner group but they do not take reservations. Why was I so hesitant to go? Because [...] There are so many ‘niche’ ideas, commerce, restaurants, etc nowadays you would think one would become blazé by the whole uniqueness concept. Then you come across a place like Riz en Folie and you are once again shook up by the daring singularity offered. Riz en Folie serves one thing: rice pudding. [...] It has been too long since I went to these restaurants to write a proper review….and well I may not see them necessarily inspiring enough to really write a full blog about…but don’t let that stop you from going! Both dinners were organized within the Montreal Foodie Blogger secret group. I do however have some awesome pics from each outing and I wanted to share the photos with you. First up is the Oyster Shack…which I did like. Never in my life did I ever think I would find a restaurant in the heart of down town that would make me feel, once inside, like I was truly in a sea food shack of the coast of the ocean. And the 5$ martinis till 8pm…HELLO? LOVE it (not every night) Oyster Shack
