Thanks for reminding me about Fair trade. At Kai restaurant I had Fair trade coffee (forgot to mention it in my review actually, too much info for that restaurant LOL) that I wanted to look up, thanks so much for the link!

  • Good call, Evelyne. I only wish that we didn’t have to make this choice and that it was all fairly sourced. Same as how I wish we didn’t have to choose to buy organic or not, as it would be so much better if everyone used such farming practices!

  • Thank you so much for the information…and a great reminder to pay more attention when buying products. Thank you for the link as well. Have a great week Evelyne :-)

Awesome post!!! Thank you for sharing, Evelyn!

  • Wow, this is really interesting, thanks for the heads up!

  • Great reminder for us all! Have a nice day!

  • I’ve never seen this logo, but I’ll be looking for it now–thanks! I finally got one thing made with the walnuts, and maple too, in honour of your challenge. I’m still bummed I missed it!

  • This is an important postl I first got alerted to the horrific treatment of laborers on cocoa plantation reading an article on Mariana’s blog (History of greek food) and since then have been more aware of this issue. Your post offers more valuable information.

  • Great post. Needs to be in the spotlight as much as possible.

Good information…thanks so much for sharing~

  • Great post and a great reminder that we need to pay attention–I have started to be much more careful with chocolate, for instance.
