@ Shawn…actually there is wormwood in Absente…see their website:

“On March 5, 2007 the U.S. Government recently lifted the Ban on Wormwood, so Absente, Absinthe Refined, can now be simply described as a modern version of one of the original Absinthe recipes from the South of France.”

i have tried other absinthes…I like Absente…the remains a matter of personal taste

Just a note. Absente is not absinthe. Even the name is a play on the word ‘absent’. Absente is not made with wormwood which is the key ingredient of absinthe. Absente tastes a little like absinthe but is a little too heavy on the licorice, IMO. Make sure you give a real absinthe a shot before buy another bottle.
