Very very late and overdue, I bring you a pic essay of my ONE traditional North Carolina meal I got to eat while in raleigh NC about a month ago. We had diner at a restaurant called Lucky 32. now technically its classified as Southern food, not NC food, but they did have plenty of local [...] How do you start off a week in style and non-sobriety? Well for me this past Monday I accomplished that with an Absinthe dinner! It all started with our last All Sugar Event where we ended up at the Lab cocktail, a bar that specializes in Absinthe. My friend Johanne has had a bottle for a while [...] I would like to assume most foodies are capable of pairing basic wines with certain foods. But we do not think of trying to pair other alcohols with food. Trying other spirits or beers can be revealing and fun. This coming Monday I am actually going to do that with a friend. [...] When I found out a few months ago that I would be traveling to Raleigh, NC I contacted the tourism bureau to receive a travel brochure. Of course I scrutinized the brochure for food facts or suggestions. One thing that went on my MUST list was the so called local cocktail the [...] I love wine and I adore good wine. It also not really in my budget to have a whole lot of ‘adorable’ wines….but one day, one day…. And of course I’ll need a wine cellar for all the amazing wine. My mom actually forwarded me this email. O…M…G! I want this wine cellar! Its too cool [...] Last week I shared with you the recipe I was asked to prepare for Christmas Eve at my parents.
