Wow, life has been busy lately and the has not been a whole lot of cooking or foodie-ing going on. So sorry for the more sparse posts. And starting middle next week I will be away for 5 days. I have to complete this month’s Baker’s Challenge before I leave too. Thank god for scheduled posts.
I have however attacked a small project: refreshing a bit the visual look of the blog. I tried to lighten it up a tad. I created a new title pic, rearraged the top part. Now here is where I need your help:
I like the rotating logo but not sure if it fits. What do you think? Should it be wider? Should I see if I can lift the sidebars up, or do you like the white space? Please let me know…after all you are the one visiting and I want you to like it to. So drop me a note with your comments and suggestions.
Besides that, as I said nothing major worth noting food wise. Although tonight was supper no.1 of 4 nights in a row where I will be eating out. Nothing spectacular mind you. Especially tonight which was a hospital cafeteria. So gross. Had a soup with tasted like water with a bit of stock in it. The lasagna was ok actually. But there was one thing I saw that cut my appetite: a huge tray of lukewarm limp kaki green beans obviously from a can. Urgh.

I really like the new look Evelyne. It’s nice and clean. The rotating logo is really cool. I’m undecided about the white space. There’s something nice about having it there, but it also maybe looks a little unfinished? Sorry, I’m not feeling particularly decisive today. BUT I can easily say that I really like the overall look!

I like the rotating pictures but Conor’s right – the white space looks a little unfinished… Hmmm what else could you put there?
Evelyne, I like the rotating logo on top, the pics are great and remind me of your past posts. I think it should be made wider to cover the white spaces above both side bars, sort of pulling it all together. if you decide to do that, I would also suggest you make it a bit bigger (top to bottom) to maintain the ratio vs. width. I like the font at the top of the page as well. Hope this helps.
